Set Design: The Lamb of God (2002)

“Lamb of God” (1992)
Mount of Beatitudes, Israel:
We had a very low budget on location, so to create the multitude attending Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, I thought wooden stakes with 7-11 cups and vacu-formed skullcaps stapled to them might work. We filled plastic garbage bags with air and duct-taped them to the stakes. Then we draped the whole thing with costuming and VOILA’: Multitudes! Watch the (low-rez) video and see if you can tell (~4:39 into Part 1).

My all time favorite depiction of the Atonement of Jesus Christ. I watch it at least once a Year. Watched it dozens of times when I was sharing the movie as a Missionary. AWESOME!
